ABOUT THE Academy
The Amsterdam Academy for Body Learning is the first official training center for Grinberg Method® practitioners
in the Netherlands, and one of only a few across Europe.
Dedicated to teaching this unique approach, the Academy works in close collaboration with Grinberg Method International, The Body Learning School in Milan, and the IAGMP (International Association of Grinberg Method Practitioners) to ensure the highest standards of training.
Bringing together senior teachers from across Europe, each with extensive experience both as practitioners and as educators, the Academy is committed to delivering high-quality, professional training in a supportive and rigorous learning environment.
THE TEAM
Leander Ruivenkamp - Founder, tutor & practitioner
Dutch bodyworker and martial artist with extensive experience guiding transformational processes, both individually and in groups, Leander guides motivated individuals toward authenticity, freedom, and a creative and fulfilling life.
After years of intensive training in body-oriented therapy, coaching, martial arts, and meditation, he now combines his knowledge and experience in uniquely designed workshops, training programs, and individual sessions, with a focus on personal freedom in every area of life. Learning to listen to the body is one of the richest processes we can go through, and one from which he continues to learn every day.

Paola Dalmasso - Teacher & practitioner
Graduated in physiotherapy in 1996. Paola is a licensed practitioner and certified trainer of the Grinberg® Method, a certified Stopping movement teacher, and has been in business since 1999, when she opened the first professional studio for the Grinberg Method in Turin, in the Piemonte region of Italy.
She decided to become a teacher in 2008 and train future professionals, becoming the first Italian teacher of the Grinberg method.

Valentina Ragno - Teacher & practitioner
She practiced this profession first in France, then in Italy, continuing to train with the founder of the Method, Avi Grinberg, and following updated courses until she became a teacher of the Grinberg Methodology.
In 2019, she opened the Body Learning School, an international school based in Milan to train future bodywork professionals. She co-founded in 2024 D.em.a., Disciplines of Embodied Attention, a cultural association aiming to spread embodiment knowledge and practice.
