ABOUT THE TRAINING
In a three-year training program, students of the Grinberg Method® are taught the Four Elements theory in all its facets.
They learn to assess the feet and to recognize relevant information through them, information that is essential for determining the type of touch and supporting the client's progress. Based on a clearly defined goal, different types of touch are applied:
Air touch is very light and takes place on the surface of the skin.
Fire touch works with the muscles and their condition in the body.
Water touch engages the connective tissue.
Earth touch (where possible) addresses the bones.
The different types of touch are trained intensively during the training, both theoretically and practically, just like the various physical exercises that are part of the Grinberg Method and integrated into client work.
Because the training is so comprehensive, the minimum requirements for practicing the method are already met after the first year. This allows students to begin working professionally after completing the one-year basic training.
The consistent practising of what has been learned ensures the high quality of Grinberg practitioners and is of great value for ongoing training through the advanced modules (years 2 and 3).
The second and third years of training complete and refine the entire education into a comprehensive, versatile, and self-contained system. Practicing the profession consistently after the first year is crucially important and serves as the foundation for the advanced modules. As students remain under ongoing supervision during this time, what they have learned becomes deeply embedded and develops into the practical skill set of every Grinberg practitioner.
STRUCTURE
OF THE TRAINING
Becoming a Grinberg Method Practitioner requires a three-year program, consisting of 12 modules. Each year holds 4 modules.
Each module is a 7-day intensive retreat.
Throughout each year, there is the possibility of having private lessons with the teacher and ongoing supervision.
